HE1000se (open-box)

Placed order on the Friday and received product safe and sound via Royal Mail by the Thursday. In terms of the HE1000SE(open box), product seemed to be in new condition - factory sealed etc. This was an upgrade from my Audivina and I have to say the sound is noticeably better. I listen to electronic / ambient music and although I enjoyed the Audivina as they gave me a ‘nightclub’ feel sound that I enjoyed, the HE1000SE just seem to let the sound breathe more in a way that all the different sounds are clearer and more identifiable to your ears. As others have commented, these headphones respond really well to EQ so you can have them sounding whatever way you prefer. They are pretty easy to drive and I’ve had them working well with mobile units like the Mojo2 & A&K PD10. I have used various IEM’s from Moondrop and Campfire Audio and owned various headphones from Sennheiser, Focal and AKG. The HE1000SE are looking like my ‘end game’ set - delighted with the purchase.

Absolutely superb headphones beautifully packaged ...arrived as promised. Perfect transaction.

Hifiman sent the wrong headphones ( stealth magnet not se) and are ignoring my emails

Fantastic sound quality, a little bit sharp highs and could be physically wider fit but overall great

Incredible headphones that handle EQ very well – easily the best set I've ever listened to.
